The Church must:
- be Kingdom focused (Acts 1:1-3, 6-7)
- be empowered by the Holy Spirit to accomplish the Mission (Acts 1:5,8)
- pray continually (Acts 1:14, 24)
- meet TOGETHER. (Acts 1:6)
- seek God’s presence and give LIFE. (Luke 3:16-17)
- a place of purification (I Peter 1:7, Zechariah 13:9, Isaiah 48:10)
Symbols:
- Windstorm – the breathe of God gives life, the wind is a symbol of God.
- Fire -purification by the Holy Spirit.
1 Timothy 2. Paul encourages Timothy to not get to bogged down in details, remember the big picture. Pray for all, serve all, bring the Word to all.
