Jesus is the true vine (the trunk). The Father is the Gardener. We are the branches. Remain in Him and he will sustain you. When we remain connected to Christ—The Father takes care of the pruning to be sure that we are growing.

1 Timothy 2. Paul encourages Timothy to not get to bogged down in details, remember the big picture. Pray for all, serve all, bring the Word to all.
